Karan Johar

Karan Dharma Kama Johar is an Indian film director, producer, screenwriter, costume designer, actor and television host. He was born in born 25 May 1972 at Mumbai, India.
His father Yash Johar the founder of Dharma Productions. His mother a housewife. Karan is the head of the production company Dharma Productions. He studied at the Greenlawns High School then H.R. College of Commerce and Economics, Mumbai. He completed a Masters degree in French.
He started his career with the film Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge on 1995  as an actor. He became the first Indian filmmaker to be a jury member in the Miss World competition, in Warsaw, Poland on September 30th, 2006. In all the movies he has directed so far, he has casted one of his close friend Shahrukh Khan. And most of the movies he directs start with the letter K or have a word beginning with the letter K in the title.
Aditya Chopra, Shahrukh Khan, Rani Mukerji and Kajol are his good friends in bollywood industry.
