Abir Chatterjee is a successful Indian Bengali film actor though he started his career with Bengali television. He is from a cultural family. His father Phalguni Chatterjee and mother Rumki Chatterjee also worked in theater.

He also acted as “Feluda” and “Byomkesh”. At first, he started working on the big screen film named “Cross Connection (2009) as a lead role. Then, in his personal life, he got married to Nandini Chatterjee. He also got Best Actor Popular Choice category award organized by IBFA, NABC 2016 for his film “Bastushap” in 2016.
