Larry David

Larry David is an American comedian, writer, actor, and television producer. He was the co-creator, with Jerry Seinfeld, of the television series Seinfeld, and was its head writer and executive producer from 1989 to 1996. He won a 1993 Emmy Award for Seinfeld in the Outstanding Comedy Series category.

Lawrence Gene David was born to Rose and Morty David on July 2, 1947 in Brooklyn, New York City, New York, USA. His family is Jewish. He was raised in Brooklyn. He joined the United States Army Reserve following graduation from the University of Maryland with a history degree.

David married Laurie Lennard on March 31, 1993. They have two daughters, and lived in Pacific Palisades, California. On July 13, 2007 the couple divorced.
