At BSMMC, he pursued and completed his Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) degree, laying the foundation for his medical career. However, his journey during this period was marked by challenges, including health-related issues that prompted him to migrate from BSMMC during his MBBS studies.

Despite the challenges, Britto’s commitment to medicine remained unwavering. Following his MBBS, he undertook an internship at Dhaka Medical College (DMC), where he honed his practical medical skills and solidified his passion for the noble profession of medicine.
His thirst for knowledge led him to pursue post-graduate training in Medicine at DMC, further expanding his medical expertise. Notably, he received specialized training in Endocrinology from the prestigious Bangladesh Institute of Research and Rehabilitation in Diabetes, Endocrine, and Metabolic Disorders (BIRDEM).
Britto’s journey in the medical field also included a stint as a Resident in Nephrology at Chittagong Medical College Hospital. However, personal reasons led him to make the difficult decision to discontinue his residency there.

Britto played a critical role in calling for justice and mobilizing people to protest. However, he eventually withdrew from the movement when it veered away from its original purpose and became more focused on commercial interests.
In addition to the Shahbag protests, he was actively involved in the MISSED Call Alert movement, which protested against extra charges imposed by mobile network companies on internet usage. He also participated in the ‘Tin Morol er Biruddhe Protibad’ movement in 2014, which protested attempts by the Australian, Indian, and English cricket boards to exclude Bangladesh from playing Test cricket.
