Joshua Ryan “Josh” Hutcherson is an American actor best known for his role in The Hunger Games alongside with Jennifer Lawrence. Hutcherson was born in Union, Kentucky, on October 12, 1992. He began auditioning for roles at age nine, landing a part in the pilot episode of House Blend and in an episode of ER. His first film role was in Miracle Dogs (2003) on Animal Planet, followed by a motion-capture performance in The Polar Express (2004) and a voice-acting role in Howl’s Moving Castle (2005). Josh Hutcherson has worked with luminaries such as Robin Williams, Annette Bening and Tom Hanks.
