Sean Bean is an English actor. He is best known for his roles in two iconic fantasy series in Lord of the Rings and Game of Thrones.
Sean Bean was born on April 17, 1959 in Handsworth, Sheffield, England. Shaun Mark Bean is his real name. He has a younger sister named Lorraine. He grew up in a wealthy family. He wanted to play football professionally. But an accident prevented him from doing that. He then took up art started to focus on acting. He is best known for playing Boromir in Lord of the Rings Trilogy and Ned Stark in Game of Thrones. His notable roles include Alec Trevelyan in the James Bond film GoldenEye (1995) and Odysseus in Troy (2004).
Sean Bean has been married and divorced four times Debra James (m. 1981; div. 1988), Melanie Hill (m. 1990; div. 1997), Abigail Cruttenden (m. 1997; div. 2000), Georgina Sutcliffe(m. 2008; div. 2010). He has three children.Bean has been a fan of Sheffield United FC.
