Meher Afroz Shaon

Meher Afroz Shaon, also known as Shaon Ahmed is a Bangladeshi actress, director and playback singer. She is known for her work on Srabon Megher Din (2000), Shyamol Chhaya (2004) and Dui Duari (2001). Shaon is one of the countries leading television personality. She was the wife of writer and director Humayun Ahmed.

Shaon Ahmed was born on October 12, 1981, in Bangladesh, to Mohammad Ali and Tahura Ali. Mohammad Ali is an Engineer and Tahura Ali was a member of parliament from Constituency 319 of the 9th Bangladesh Parliament. Shaon studied at Viqarunnisa Noon School and College. She passed SSC and HSC in 1996 and 1998 respectively. After passing HSC she joined University of Asia Pacific and received Bachelor of Architecture degree in 2008.
