James Hetfield is the front man of the American Heavy Metal band Metallica. He co-founded Metallica with Lars Ulrich in 1981. He is the Lead Vocalist and also the rhythm guitarist of the band. James Hetfielt is the main songwriter of Metallica. He is regarded as one of the greatest rock stars the world has ever seen. He has won 9 Grammy Awards with Metallica.
James Hetfield was born on August 3, 1963. His birthplace is Downey, California. He was born to Cynthia Bassett and Virgil Lee Hetfield. He has two older brothers and a younger sister. James Hetfield said Aerosmith had been his main musical influence as a child. He was also the fan of Queen, Led Zeppelin, Black Sabbath and AC/DC.
