James Hetfield

James Hetfield is the front man of the American Heavy Metal band Metallica. He co-founded Metallica with Lars Ulrich in 1981. He is the Lead Vocalist and also the rhythm guitarist of the band. James Hetfielt is the main songwriter of Metallica. He is regarded as one of the greatest rock stars the world has ever seen. He has won 9 Grammy Awards with Metallica.

James Hetfield was born on August 3, 1963. His birthplace is Downey, California. He was born to Cynthia Bassett and Virgil Lee Hetfield. He has two older brothers and a younger sister. James Hetfield said Aerosmith had been his main musical influence as a child. He was also the fan of Queen, Led Zeppelin, Black Sabbath and AC/DC. The first single he ever bought was Sweet Home Alabama by Lynard Skynard. He answered a classified ad from drummer Lars Ulrich and formed Metallica in 1981. He recorded most of the rhythm tracks in Metallica’s earlier works. Since the mid 90’s Kirk Hammett also plays the rhythm. He plays solos on Master of Puppet and Nothing Else Matters. He is known as the progenitor of Thrash Metal. His powerful vocal was instrumental in the rise of Thrash in the early 80’s. James Hetfield has been in a lot of stage accidents during his career. James Hetfield was performed at the Freddie Mercury tribute concert in 1992. He performed “Enter Sandman”, “Sad But True”, “Nothing Else Matters” with Metallica. He also performed with Queen and Toni Iommi on “Stone Cold Crazy”.

James Hatefilled has a lot of tattoos on his body. One of his tattoos show four cards in flame representing the year of his birth Ace(1) 9 6 3. James Hetfield married his wife Francesca Tomasi in 1977. They have three children together. He has stopped drinking since 2002. He is regarded as a genuine rock icon in the world of music.
