Masashi Kishimoto

Masashi Kishimoto is a Japanese manga artist. He is one of the best selling manga artist of all time. He is known for his shonen manga Naruto. Naruto has been adapted into two anime series and sold over 200 million copies worldwide.

Masashi Kishimoto was born in the Okayama Prefecture, Japan on November 8, 1974. He showed interest in drawing characters from the anime shows he watched. He is a big fan of Dragon Ball manga. He cites Akira Toriyam is his inspiration. Fellow artists Eiichiro Oda, Tite Kubo and Hero Mashima states they are big fan of Dragon Ball. In September 1999 Naruto first started being published in the Weekly Shonen Jump. It was quickly becoming a sensation. Naruto along with One Piece and Bleach were regarded as the top level of manga of the past decade. After Naruto ended in 2014 Masashi Kishimoto wanted to move on to other stuffs. He will supervise the spin off manga starring Naruto’s son Boruto.

Masashi Kishimoto is the twin brother of Seishi Kishimoto. His brothe is the author of 666 Satan and Blazer Drive. In 2003, Kishimoto married, but due to being busy never went on a honeymoon with his wife until 2015. The couple has one son.
