Steven Brill is an American actor, film producer, director, and screenwriter. He directed and co-wrote Little Nicky (2000) and directed Mr. Deeds (2002), Without A Paddle (2004), Heavyweights (1995) and Drillbit Taylor.

Steven Brill was born on 27 May 1962 in Utica, New York. studied film, theater and acting at Boston University. There he studied with poet Derek Walcott and collaborated with Marc Maron on screenplays and standup comedy. Steven is good friends with Adam Sandler. He married author Ruthanna Hopper.

Aside from writing and directing, Brill has kept busy as an actor on such diverse films as “Sex, Lies, and Videotape“, “Postcards from the Edge“, “Edward Scissorhands“, “Batman Returns“, “When a Man Loves a Woman“, “The Wedding Singer” and “Big Daddy“, and “Knocked Up“.
