Shriya Pushpendra Saran, known as Shriya is an Indian film actress and model. After featuring in a lot of Telugu movies, Shriya showed a glimpse of her talent in Ennaku 20 Unnaku 18. Next she starred in Mazhai which made people take notice on her histrionics.Saran made her film debut in 2001 with Ishtam and had her first commercial success with the Telugu film Santhosham (2002). If anything, 2007 would be a year she would never forget as that was when she was cast with Rajini in Sivaji: The Boss. This attracted producers to include her in high budget movies like Kandasamy. Her roles in Uthama Puthiran and Chikku Bukku are appreciated by fans and the public. Little wonder that her fans are expecting to see more of her on screen in 2011.
