Sacha Baron Cohen is a British Actor and Comedian. He is notable for comedy films. His most notable films are The Dictator, Ali G Indahouse, Borat and Les Misérables. He came to prominence with Da Ali G Show. He plays three characters Ali G, Borat Sagdiyev and Brüno Gehard.

Sacha Baron Cohen was born on 13 October 1971 in Hammersmith, West London. His father Gerald Baron Cohen owned a clothing store. His mother Daniella Naomi was born in Israel. Sacha Baron Cohen is Jewish. He has two brothers Erran Baron Cohen and Amnon Baron Cohen. He went on to the University of Cambridge. After leaving the university he became a fashion model. In the early 90’s he was hosting a television programme. Sacha Baron Cohen appeared as fashion reporter Brüno on the Paramount Comedy Channel during 1998. His became famous for Ali G. Ali G was an uneducated gangsta from Staines. Ali G started appearing on The 11 O’Clock Show in 2008. In 1999 he was named the comedian of the year by GQ. He won the best newcomer in the British Comedy Awards in 1999. Da Ali G Show began in 2000. It won the BAFTA the following year. In 2002, Sacha Baron Cohen starred as Ali G in the movie Ali G Indahouse. The television show was exported to the US. He has also released films on Bruno and Borat too. All three of these films were super hit. Sacha Baron Cohen won the best Golden Globe for Best Actor- Musical/Comedy. His ultimate character is of Admiral General Aladeen. Aladeen is a dictator from an imaginative Middle Eastern country. Aladeen is based on the real life Syrian dictator Muammar Gaddafi.
Sacha Baron Cohen has been criticized for the racist comments his characters make. Especially the comments Ali G and Aladeen made. Sacha Baron Cohen married Isla Fisher on 2010 in Paris, France. The Couple have two daughters Elula Lottie Miriam and Olive.
