Priya Anand is a Tamil film actress. She mainly appears in Tamil and Telugu films. Priya was born in Chennai, Tamil Nadu as the only child to a Tamilian father Bharadwaj Anand and a half Telugu, half Marathi mother Radha. She has been dreaming of getting into the film industry and working on technical aspects of filmmaking but confesses she never thought of becoming an actor. She is now working for Anish Kuruvilla‘s KO ANTE KOTI. In 2011, she filmed for her debut Hindi film English Vinglish, produced by R. Balki, in which she had shared the screen with Sridevi, (Mother of Jhanvi Kapoor).
