Margot Robbie

Margot Robbie is an Australian actress born in Dalby, Queensland, and raised on the Gold Coast with two brothers and a sister. Robbie started her career by appearing in Australian independent films in the late 2000s. With the stunning good looks and ultra-sexy approach, she first gained recognition for playing Donna Brown on the Australian soap opera Neighbours from 2008 to 2011, which earned her two Logie Award nominations.

Margot Elise Robbie was born on July 2, 1990, on Australia’s Gold Coast. She’s the blonde-haired, blue-eyed beauty. She’s spent much of her time at the farm belonging to her grandparents. Her mother, Sarie Kessler, is a physiotherapist.

Robbie attended and graduated from Somerset College in 2007. In her late teens, she moved to Melbourne to pursue an acting career. Her first break came when she appeared in two films directed by Aash Aaron – Vigilante (2008) and I.C.U. (2009).

In 2011, she quit Neighbours and moved to LA to live with her former co-star Caitlin Stasey. There, Margot quickly landed a plum role in 1960s-set Pan-Am (not before she was rejected for a role on the reboot of Charlie’s Angels).

In June 2012, Margot Robbie‘s big break has come in Martin Scorsese‘s The Wolf of Wall Street (2013) with Leonardo DiCaprio, Jonah Hill and Matthew McConaughey.

By October 2014, she was approached by Warner Brothers to portray Harley Quinn in the 2016 DC Comics supervillain film “Suicide Squad“.
