Lamar Odom is an American former professional basketball player. He is best known for playing for Los Angeles Lakers in NBA. As a member of the Los Angeles Lakers he won NBA championships in 2009 and 2010.
Odom was born on November 6, 1979 in South Jamaica, Queens, New York City, New York, to Joe Odom and Cathy Mercer. His original name is – Lamar Joseph Odom. He played college basketball for the University of Rhode Island. In the 1999 NBA draft he was picked 4th by Los Angeles Clippers. He played 4 season with them. Later he played one season with Miami Heat before being traded to Los Angeles Lakers in 2004. He played and won 2 Nba Titles with the Lakers. He was traded to Dalla Mavericks in 2011 and returned to Clippers in 2013. He briefly played in spain before retirement.
He married Khloé Kardashian in 2009, and has made several appearances on her family’s reality television show, Keeping Up with the Kardashians. He and Kardashian also had their own reality series, Khloé & Lamar.
