Jared Padalecki is an American actor. He is best known for playing Sam Winchester in the hit supernatural Drama Supernatural. He and Jensen Ackles play two brothers who hunt the supernaturals.
Jared Padalecki was born on July 19, 1982in San Antonio, Texas. His parents are Gerald and Sherri Padalecki. His father is of Polish descent, while his mother has German, Scottish, French, and English ancestry. In 2005, Padalecki starred opposite Elisha Cuthbert, Chad Michael Murray, and Paris Hilton in House of Wax as Wade. That same year, Padalecki was cast as Sam Winchester on the CW series, Supernatural. He also had the lead role in the 2009 version of Friday the 13th as Clay Miller.
Jared Padalecki married Genevieve Cortese. Genevieve Cortese was a guest star in Supernatural. She played the role of a demon. The couple resides in Austin, Texas with their two sons.
