Hiro Mashima is an Japanese manga artist. He is best known for the Anime and manga Fairy Tail. He is also the creator of the successful manga Rave Master.
Early Life
Hiro Mashima was born on May 3, 1977 in Nagano, Japan. He stated that he knew he wanted to be a manga artist for as long as he can recall. His father was an artist that aspired to turn professional, but died when Mashima was young. Mashima listed Akira Toriyama‘s Dragon Ball as his favorite manga growing up. In 199 Rave Master Started being published. It was popular as it ran until 2005. After that Fairy Tail started being published and it garnered him more fame.
Hiro Mashima is one of the biggest manga artist in the world right now. His Fairy Tail is currently one of the best manga in the World along with Eiichiro Oda‘s One Piece and Tite Kubo‘s Bleach and formerly Masashi Kishimoto‘s Naruto.
