Drew Blyth Barrymore is a very well known American actress, film director, screenwriter, producer, and model. She was born in Culver City, Los Angeles, California on February 22, 1975. Drew Barrymore has acting in her blood. She is a member of the Barrymore family of American actors, The daughter of actor John Drew Barrymore Jr. and Ildiko Jaid, Barrymore’s great-grandparents were actors Maurice Barrymore and Georgiana Drew, and her grandparents were actors John Barrymore and Dolores Costello. The director Steven Spielberg is her godfather. Her godmothers are Sophia Loren and Anna Strasberg.

Drew Barrymore has come a long way since her big-screen breakout in Steven Spielberg’s beloved sci-fi blockbuster, E.T.: The Extra-Terrestrial. And she soon became the youngest person ever to host Saturday Night Live. She made her big screen debut at the age of four in Ken Russell’s Altered States (1980).

She never finished high school, When Drew Barrymore was 13, she was drug addictive and been placed in a rehabilitation center for nearly a year and a half, and later wrote of the experience in her autobiography, Little Girl Lost.
In 2002, Barrymore was well-cast by first time director George Clooney to portray a Bohemian but grounding force in the fictionalized bio of game show king, Chuck Barris in “Confessions of a Dangerous Mind.”
