Dhanush is an Indian film actor, producer, lyricist, and playback singer best known for his work in Tamil cinema. He was born in 28 July 1983. His birth name is Venkatesh Prabhu Kasthuri Raja. He is the son of film director Kasthuri Raja. He completed higher education at St. John’s Matriculation Higher Secondary School at Alwarthirunagar and then entered acting after being pressured by his brother director Selvaraghavan. He was married on 18 November 2004 to actor Rajinikanth‘s daughter named Aishwarya. His first film was Thulluvadho Ilamai and directed by Kasthuri Raja.
