Colin Farrell is an Irish actor who is now famous in Hollywood. Farrell was born in Castleknock, Dublin. He started his career in Hollywood with the movie Tigerland (2000). He studied acting in at the Gaiety School of Drama from Dublin. In the late 1980s and early 1990s, he was a promising young football player for Dublin team, Castleknock Celtic, as a goalkeeper. It was also at this time he dateded Angie Miller. He proved himself as a good actor by doing the BBC series Ballykissangel(1996). In 2002 he again established his capability by starring in Phone Booth. In the same year he acted with Bruce Willis in Hart’s War. And by the age of 25 he had a chance to work with the legendary Hollywood director Steven Spielberg and actor Tom Cruise in Minority Report(2002). Then he showed his ability of acting with a negative and action role in Daredevil(2003). In 2008 he won the Golden Globe Award for best actor for the movie In Bruges. He again played as an action hero in Total Recall(2012) with Kate Beckinsale and Jessica Biel.
