Chris Rock is an American comedian and actor. He is best known for his stand up comedy shows and comedy movies. He starred in Grown Ups, Grown Ups 2, The Longest Yard, Madagascar and Death at a Funeral. He was the 77th and 88th Academy Awards.
Chris Rock was born in Andrews, South Carolina on February 7, 1965. His family shortly moved to Brooklyn, New York. He went to James Madison High School. He endured bullying and beatings from white students. His family pulled him out of the school. He then dropped out of school but earned a GED.
Chris Rock started stand up comedy in 1984. Eddie Murphy liked his performance and befriended him. He was a cast of Saturday Night Live with Chris Farley, Adam Sandler, Rob Schneider and David Spade.
