Brittany Snow

Brittany Snow is an American actress, producer, director and singer. She is known for her roles as Meg Pryor in American Dreams, Daisy Lemay in Guiding Light, Kate Spencer in John Tucker Must Die, Amber Von Tussle in Hairspray, Donna Keppel in Prom Night and Jenna Backstrom in the NBC television series Harry’s Law. She has made respectable position in American entertainment field and has earned more fame and fans.

Snow is also the co-creator of the Love is Louder movement, a project dedicated to stop bullying in schools.

Early Life

Brittany Anne Snow was born and raised in Tampa, Florida on March 9, 1986, the daughter of Cinda and John Snow. She has a half-brother, John, Jr., and a half-sister, Holly. Her nationality is American and belongs to Mixed (English, German, Scottish) ethnicity. She was raised up with her parents in the entertaining and friendly environment along with her sliblings.

She attended Gaither High School in Tampa. Brittany has always been a Straight A student. She enjoys dancing and has been a member of Broadway Dance, LA Dance Force, Underground & The Pizazz Competitive Dance Group. She was highly interested in the acting field from the very early age and started singing at the age of seven.

Career

Brittany Snow has blonde hair and blue eyes. She began modeling at age 3. She made her debut in the 1995 film “Whisper of the Heart” as Shizuku Tsukishima.

She began her TV career as Susan “Daisy” Lemay on the CBS series Guiding Light (1998–2002) for which she won a Young Artist Award for Best Young Actress and was nominated for two other Young Artist Awards and a Soap Opera Digest Award. She then played the protagonist Meg Pryor on the NBC series American Dreams (2002–05) for which she was nominated for a Young Artist Award and three Teen Choice Awards.

Snow’s subsequent television roles have included Ariel Alderman on Nip/Tuck (2005) and Jenna Backstrom on Harry’s Law (2011). Her film roles include Kate Spencer in John Tucker Must Die (2006), Amber Von Tussle in Hairspray (2007), Donna Keppel in Prom Night (2008), Emma Gainsborough in The Vicious Kind (2009), and Chloe Beale in the musical comedies Pitch Perfect (2012), Pitch Perfect 2 (2015), and Pitch Perfect 3 (2017).

Brittany Snow resides in Los Angeles, California, in a house with her co-star Kelley Jakle who also worked in Pitch Perfect. Snow opened explained about her fight with eating disorders and co-created the Love is Louder Movement with The Jed Foundation to support anyone feeling mistreated, hopeless or melancholic. Countless no of individuals and communities have used Love Louder’s programs, events and clubs to talk about issues such as body image, bullying, depression, and discrimination.
