Adnan Januzaj is a Belgian professional footballer. He plays for English Premiere League giants Manchester United. He is also part of the Belgium national team. He is one of the best young talents on the planet right now.
Adnan Januzaj was born in Brussels, Belgium 5th February, 1995. His Kosovar-Albanian family had migrated in 1992 so his father, Abedin, could avoid being recruited by the Yugoslav People’s Army. Januzaj’s mother’s family had been deported to Turkey.
Adnan Januzaj began his football career with FC Brussels but joined Anderlecht as a 10-year-old in 2005. He left Anderlecht for Manchester United at the age of 16. Sir Alex Ferguson promoted him to the first-team and he was registered with the number 44 jersey. He made his competitive debut for Manchester United against Wigan Athletic in August 2013. He scored 5 league goals for Man U. After Ryan Giggs retired he got the jersey no 11. In 2015, he was loaned to German club Borussia Dortmund on a season-long deal. But he was recalled to United after playing only twelve games for Dortmund in the first half of the season.
Adnan Janujaj could’ve played for Belgium, Albania, Kosovo and Turkey. In 2014, Belgian coach Marc Wilmots announced that Januzaj had committed himself to the Belgian national team. He has previously refused call ups from the Belgian team.
